For this release, Andy Tillison, singer, songwriter and keyboardist of The Tangent, was inspired to write a loose conceptual album that varied from the rules and conventions that defined progressive rock in its heyday. At the same time, the authentic, retro- prog and complex compositions give the album its familiar well-known characteristic.
